I have managed to stay positive, even when around super annoying people. The first few hours were ok, but after the 4th or 5th hour of being held hostage. Oh did I forget to mention they had us go with them. So we weren't able to leave whenever we wanted, which me and my hubby dont like. so we were driving around while they were looking for some house that they invited themselves and also us to go and eat which neither of us wanted to do once we didnt know the people, but luckily we didnt find it and ended up at some Mexican restaurant. After eating we were finally able to convince them we needed to go home and they released us. Towards the end I had to have my pasted polite smile on and at that point it was a struggle to be positive. Thankfully my hubby felt the same as me once we were on our way home so I didnt even have to fight with him over never doing that again we can go somewhere but never without our own ride. Lesson learned.
On the diet front I have made my Dr appt. To get a consultation on a mommy makeover. So I am getting back to a healthier diet of lots of salads and fish. I am also jogging on a more regular basis. I even weighted myself last week and since then have lost 1 lb.
Not to much else going on right now.

ME 2.0
As of today Thursday, April 25th, 2013 I am a new person.
What I mean by that is I am changing my attitude and outlook on life. I am to negative and stand-offish (that's a word, right?). This spring/summer I will be put into a lot of social activities and it's high time I made some adult friends and couple friends with my hubby. We should be going out to shows, concerts etc with others and the car club will help with that. In addition my new job will seem to also present some opportunities to socialize with adults, cool adults, along with events and learning about not just food but drinks as well.
I talked to my hubby about this newer version of me and he said "abiut time." That's all I needed to hear. So I asked for his help. I told him to point out to me when I'm being negative or something.
I want to be a better person.
This year so far has been about honesty, self-evaluation, and completion.
And I couldn't be happier.

2 weeks notice
This past Wednesday I gave my 2 weeks notice at work. Its bittersweet but I think it was time. I was starting to not like going to the point of dreading it and becomeing bitter over money among other things, plus another and brighter opportunity presented itself so I took it. The bright side is I will have weekends back, at least for awhile. I will get to be creative, and have my opinions heard.
Other good news is my car is paid off. Yippee!
As for exercise I've been so-so about it I did jog a couple times this week and did some batting work for about 45 minutes earned some gnarly looking blisters, but I enjoyed it so much I didnt want to stop except my blisters started to hurt.
On to my favorite subject Baking. This week I made Margarita Cupcakes with a Tequila glaze and Lime Cream Cheese frosting. They were delish now I'm inspired to make other drinks into sweet treats.

Hi.
Hi there. I hope you will join me in learning to just let go and have fun. Sounds easy. Right? But since I tend to be a shy and reserved person, it will mean overcoming how uncomfortable I am when people focus on me.
So I vow to try new things whether it be a new recipe/food or going on an adventure.
I want to start going out with my husband and just being more active. I have taken steps toward being more active and started playing softball. And I really mean started I've only had 1 practice so far.
I will also be saving up for a mommy makeover and trying to get my body in the best shape of my life. While I work and take care of normal everyday whatnot.
There now that that's out of the way:
Today wasnt a particular spectacular day since I didn't get home from work until 5 a.m. didnt doze off until 6:30ish and had to get up at 7:30 to take my kid to school. And then only slept til noon. I did take my dog Chewy on a 45 minute walk/jog. Watching Julie & Julia and its making me want to bake.

2 Strawberry poptarts
Pot roast with mashed taters and green beans
Jack n the box chicken sandwich w/o mayo
